On Thursday we went on an adventure to Three Rivers with Janelle. We were planning to hang out by the river, but couldn't find a good spot. We went to the lake, but couldn't find a good spot there either so we ended up going to Three Rivers and hanging out on the grass by a grocery store. Not exactly what we had in mind, but we enjoyed our snack and some good conversation.
Then we went to Reimer's and got ice cream, which was delicious.
Michelle made a new friend.
We found some crazy flowers on a bush outside.
As we were leaving, we saw a sign for free samples of gourmet jerky, so we got some and it was pretty good. Janelle left Sunday to go to South Africa for 8 weeks as an intern with Thrive Africa, so it was especially fun to get to hang out with her before she left.
