When we found out that I didn't have to work the Friday after Thanksgiving and Joshua's school load for that weekend was surprisingly light, we decided to do something crazy that we hadn't been planning on and drive down to California to spend Thanksgiving with our families. We arrived late Wednesday and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner Thursday with the Kerrs at Uncle Jimmy's house. We had a huge amount of delicious food, including a baked turkey, a smoked turkey, and a smoked ham, but mostly it was wonderful to see our family again and spend time with people we love. Solace has been growing like crazy, of course, but is just as cute and sweet as ever.
