Based on a recommendation by a friend who recently visited Portland, Joshua and I decided to check out the Standard Baking Company Monday morning. It was lovely. We ended up getting a morning bun, a blueberry oatmeal scone, and rosemary focaccia bread; all delicious. I have been wanting to bake lately, this didn't help.

I'm in a baking mood too. I made pumpkin bread yesterday, even though it was almost 100.
This place is AMAZING! I think we tried 6-7 items between Jeremy, myself and my friend- we could not control ourselves! Unfortunately they didn't have the pumpkin stuff out yet...
