Wednesday afternoon we left Shenandoah National Park and began driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, an almost 500 mile drive that connects Shenandoah National Park and the Smoky Mountains National Park. It was a beautiful drive.
When it started getting dark, we decided to drive on the interstate for awhile to cover some ground because we wanted to visit the Smoky Mountains the next day for Joshua's birthday.
