It was fun to have Valentine's Day fall on a Friday this year because we were both off work. Of course, we did some usual Friday things like going to the grocery store and working on the thesis, but we enjoyed having the extra time to celebrate together.
We started Thursday night with a heart shaped pizza, then had pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast Friday.
We drove up to Reimer's in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day for a drive and Joshua's first time visiting Three Rivers.
We topped things off by getting sushi for dinner; which was particularly special since we haven't gone out to sushi for a long time.
