Our first flower of spring bloomed yesterday. Of course, it is still winter and we are reminded of that with cold rainy days and morning temperatures that are still often around freezing. But spring is coming and you can feel the change in the air. We are starting to have some warm sunny afternoons; yesterday it was 68 when I was leaving work, which is the warmest it has been for months. There are flowers starting to pop up around town and by the side of the freeway. It is an exciting time of year.
