There are ripe blackberries around; of course, I couldn't resist picking some. Joshua and I went out and picked a bunch yesterday morning.
After lunch, Gayle, Joshua, and I went to the Umpqua river lighthouse. First we looked around a little museum there, then we got to tour the lighthouse.
We got to climb the lighthouse and stick our head up in the lens with the light, which was so cool.
Then we went to the beach. It was cold and windy, but clear and beautiful.
Back at the house, we had a cioppino feast for dinner, followed by a cribbage grudge match.
