Lamar and Joy were in town yesterday for Emery's birthday party and they stopped to have lunch with us. I decided to try making No Mayo Deviled Eggs, which was recipe number seventeen. I thought it sounded interesting because it called for avocado instead of mayonnaise, but when I went to the store none of the avocados were ripe. I picked the softest one I could find and hoped for the best, but it was way too firm. The eggs turned out fine, but I think they would have been much better with a ripe avocado.
