We celebrated the arrival of 2014 at my parents' house with lots of yummy snacks and dancing. The boys helped me make one of our favorite New Year's snacks, muddy buddies.

We had lots of fun dancing the night away. Last year Isaac, Jonah, Joshua, and I were the only ones who made it to midnight, but this year Dad, Mom, Michelle, and Evan stayed up too. It was the first time Evan has stayed up until midnight on New Year's Eve and he seemed pretty tired, but I think he thought it was worth it, especially when Grandpa and Grandma let him set off his popper in the family room.
The next morning, Mom made pancakes for breakfast and we enjoyed a relaxing start to the day. We got to try out one of our new games from Christmas, Settlers of America. It took awhile to play the whole thing, but it was a fun game.
