The Weekend Before Christmas

We had a festive weekend last weekend. Saturday we made our traditional Kerr family shortbread cookies. This is half of what we made.

 

Dad has been sick so Mom said we shouldn't get together for Sunday night dinner at their house. Instead, the three families in town decided to have a progressive dinner and see the houses all decorated for Christmas. We started at the Trevino's for the main course, since it was their week to make dinner.

Then we went to the Nickell's for dessert.

 Finally, we ended the evening at our house with hot drinks. It was fun to see all the decorations and enjoy a different sort of dinner together.
